Job Titles and Industries

Welcome to Job Titles and Industries!

In this lesson, you will learn how to talk about your profession, describe where you work, and discuss your studies in Italian.

Key Vocabulary Rules

  • Professions often change ending based on gender (e.g., studente / studentessa).
  • Names of industries usually follow masculine or feminine noun rules (es. l'ingegneria, il commercio).

Examples:

  • Lavoro come informatico. (I work as a computer scientist.)
  • Studio economia all'università. (I study economics at university.)
