"Who" question asks for information about a person:


Form: Who + am/is/are + Subject


Singular Subject:   Who is she?

Plural Subject:  Who are you?


Note: We don't use yes or no in the answer. We just give some information:

Who is she?
→ She is my wife.

Who are they?
→ They are policemen.

Who is that man?
→ He is the boss.

Who is your father?
→ James Cook is my father.

Who are those women?
→ They are cooks.
Who are they?
→ They are my friends.

Who am I?
→ You are our boss.

Who is in the room?
→ My brother is in the room.

Who is in the bed?
 → Mike is in the bed.

Who is ready?
→ Tom and Ted are ready
